WWE star, Chyna was found dead in her apartment on April 20 but just a few days earlier she uploaded a very unsettling video to her YouTube channel. In the 13 minute video Chyna is seen walking around her apartment, rambling about vitamins and being vegan.
Chyna‘s death came as a shock to her friends and fans. But a glimpse into the life of the 46-year-old shows the former WWE star acting erratically in the days before her death. In the video, Chyna films herself the moment she wakes up at 6:40am and records herself walking throughout her apartment in Redondo Beach, Calif., while appearing somewhat disoriented. At one point she drools and begins to ramble as she makes a smoothie.
After about 10 minutes of her making a smoothie she starts talking about her life and says, “So passive aggressive and rude lately, but doing good. I’ve been having fun because I feel like I can express myself. Talk to my friends … it’s really been helping me a lot.” Then she starts singing “The Fish Heads” song, “Yum, yum, drink it up, roly poly fish fish heads, fish heads. Roly poly fish heads, eat them up, eat them up, yum!” She’s somewhat hard to understand because she’s slurring her words and laughing. Also, it’s unclear if she has smeared mascara on one of her eyelids or a bruise.
At the end of the video she says, “Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day out there! Anyway ya’ll, good morning. Have a wonderful day. I will keep you posted throughout the day. I hope it will be a quiet day and a nice day. Anyway love ya’ll. Hope you have a beautiful day. Wake up, wake up, wake up! Or sleep in. Or stay in bed all damn day today. It’s Sunday, right? Love ya’ll, peace.” She then says that her friends were coming over and they were going to go on a bike ride. Just three days later on April 20, Chyna was found dead in her bed and police are reportedly investigating to see if foul play was a factor.
HollywoodLife.com obtained a statement from the WWE after her sudden death: “WWE is saddened to learn of reports that Joanie Laurer, best known for competing in WWE as Chyna, has passed away. A physically striking and wildly talented performer, Chyna was a true sports-entertainment pioneer. Not only did the Superstar dubbed “The Ninth Wonder of the World” help found the groundbreaking faction D-Generation X, but she also holds the distinction of being the first and only female to win the Intercontinental Championship. WWE extends its condolences to Laurer’s family, friends and fans.”
