Gwen Stefani showed off quite the hairstyle while performing on ‘The Voice!’ Rocking a multi-braided style on stage, post-performance, Gwen showed us just how crazy the braids left her hair. Get the details on her latest beauty look, ahead.
If you were missing Gwen Stefani, 46, as a coach on The Voice, she certainly made up for her absence on the April 19 results show when she performed her new single, “Misery.” Kicking off the show with an over-the-top performance, Gwen sported a bold beauty look that only she could pull off.

Never one to play it safe when it comes to style and beauty, for her “Misery” performance, Gwen’s hairstylist, Danilo, styled her platinum hair into a multi-braided look. To really make her braids pop, Danilo gave Gwen boxer braids (or reverse French braids), styling her hair off into several sections.
Creating a braid at the center of Gwen’s hair, Danilo tied her hair into a tiny top knot with a thick black elastic. He repeated the braids on either side of Gwen’s face, and then at the back of her head as well, joining the two braids into one at the nape of her neck.
While her braids looked totally fierce on stage, Gwen shared just how messy the popular style left her hair in a silly Snapchat. With her hair still slicked down at the crown of her head, the rest of Gwen’s hair was left in a mass of knots, that we’re definitely glad we didn’t have to brush through.
Crazy post-show hair aside, Gwen’s makeup stayed flawless before and after her performance. Gwen’s makeup artist, Gregory Arlt, played up Gwen’s eyes by defining her brows and giving her a slightly smokey shadow look that was enhanced with a black cat eye that was then outlined in a bold blue color. Oversized lashes and a glossy nude lip completed Gwen’s glam look.
