Whether they’re feeling the “berne” of Bernie Sanders, 74, tagging Donald Trump, 69, to “Make America Great Again” or standing with Hillary Clinton, 68, to become the first female U.S. president, many celebs are taking part in the New York state primary. Whether they’re Republican or Democrat, these celebs agree: the right to vote is awesome!

There are 291 Democratic and 95 Republican delegates up for grabs in the April 19 primary, and celebs living in New York are getting out the vote. After all, the winner of this primary may just become the next president of the United States. Amy Schumer, 34, clearly knows this, as she posed in a Hillary t-shirt while wearing her “I VOTED” sticker on her nose.
Lena Dunham, 29, wore her sticker on her palm instead of her face, which is a much more sensible choice. Speaking of palms, Debra Messing, 47, gave a round of applause to New York Times best selling author Isabel Gillies, 46, for voting. If you’re registered in New York, find your polling place here. And, it doesn’t matter whom you vote for – you can get unlimited and ad-free streaming music by signing up here.
Susan Sarandon, 69, showed that she voted, but after pointing an imaginary gun to her head, the message was kind of mixed (much like how she said she’d rather vote for Donald Trump instead of Hillary if Bernie doesn’t get nominated.) Still, it’s good that she used her voice! Bernie’s hip-hop buddy, Killer Mike of Run The Jewels, encouraged people to get out and vote. If there are two celebs that AREN’T voting in the New York state primary, it’s Donald Trump’s own kids, Ivanka Trump, 34, and Eric Trump, 32. Ivanka said that she’s a registered Independent and can’t vote in the Republican primary. Eric, on the other hand, said he forgot to register! Hopefully, Trump can win the GOP primary without the vote from his own flesh and blood.
Are you voting today, HollywoodLifers? Who do you think will win this primary?
