‘RHOBH’ Reunion Part 1 Recap: Yolanda Walks Out After Rinna Blasts Vanderpump

The ladies of Beverly Hills met up with Andy Cohen for the first portion of a three-part reunion on April 19, and it was super dramatic. Yolanda discussed her pending divorce from David Foster, Kyle aggressively defended Faye Resnick when the OJ Simpson trial was discussed, and one housewife stormed off stage.

On the April 19 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle aggressively defended her friend Faye Resnick when Kathryn‘s connection to the OJ Simpson trial was discussed, but when Yolanda‘s illness was brought up, she kept quiet. And that upset Yolanda. In fact, Yolanda got so upset during the first portion of the three-part reunion that she walked off stage.

But before we get to Yolanda’s epic walk out, we have to start from the beginning. The episode started with some fun conversations about Erika‘s marriage, son, and how she “pats the puss.” She even gave a demonstration to Andy. Lisa Rinna tried taking part, but Yolanda told her to sit down and give Erika her moment.

Then, host Andy Cohen brought up Kathryn’s connection to the OJ Simpson trial and how she felt about meeting Faye. But anytime anyone brought Faye’s name up, Kyle would shut them down. She didn’t like anyone saying anything bad about Faye, and apparently, Faye was unhappy with the way she was portrayed on the show this season. What we found odd was the fact that Kyle said Faye didn’t deserve anyone saying anything bad about her because she didn’t sign up for the show, but she willingly participates as often as she can. So if you ask us, she’s fair game. Regardless, Yolanda took notice of the way Kyle was defending Faye, and she told Erika, “I wish she’d felt that strong about me.”

And that brings us to Yolanda. When Andy brought up her divorce from David Foster, Yolanda told Lisa Vanderpump her split was unexpected. She revealed she and David had some sort of a “falling out” on Nov. 2, 2015 — a “fight” is what she initially called it before downsizing it to a “discussion” — and then David told her he wanted a divorce on Nov. 15. Surprisingly, Yolanda didn’t get too upset over the discussion about her divorce, but what she did get emotional about was when the ladies started discussing her illness. Lisa Rinna revealed that Lisa Vanderpump orchestrated an entire storyline around Yolanda’s illness and whether or not it was authentic. Lisa Vanderpump, of course, denied this, but either way, it was too much for Yolanda to handle and she walked off set.
