The race for the Empire State is highly contested, and tensions have run high between all of the candidates as they battle for those coveted delegates! Hillary and Bernie have been having an all out turf war in NYC; Bernie was born and raised in Brooklyn, and Hillary was a New York state senator. They both have deep ties to the state! Hillary is polling ahead of Bernie by 10 points going into the primary, and has 1,758 delegates to his 1,076. With 291 delegates up for grabs, including 44 super delegates, this could be a momentous election.
Trump is favored to win the New York primary by far, which is unsurprising; his name is branded all over NYC! He’s an established name in the state. Ted has messed up incredibly by bashing “New York values” when , a bizarre, vaguely anti-semetic, vaguely homophobic statement. Not gonna fly. And John…well John isn’t doing well anywhere.
There are 95 delegates at stake for the GOP candidates. Trump already has 744 delegates, and is just 500 away from the nomination. Ted is close behind, with 559. And poor John is trailing in third with 114. May the best candidate win!
