You guys, it’s official — Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani recorded a duet together and it’s going to appear on his upcoming album! Gwen confirmed the news on April 19, and the song title has us thinking they might throwing shade at their exes, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, on the track.
Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, are working together in a professional capacity again…but it’s not on The Voice this time! Instead, the lovebirds got in the studio together to record a song for his album, If I’m Honest, and we’re already dying to hear it. Find out the song title here!
HollywoodLife.com told you last fall that Blake and Gwen had been working on music together, and the song has officially made Blake’s upcoming album — Gwen confirmed the news herself on Twitter!
“Look what I found lying round the house!” she tweeted on April 18, with a photo of the back of her man’s record, revealing the tracklist. “#ispymyname.” Yup, we do too, and it’s right along side a song called “Go Ahead And Break My Heart.” Stream Blake and Gwen’s music completely unlimited and ad-free HERE.
So far, all we have is the song title to go on, but it certainly sounds like a breakup track. Could it be Blake and Gwen’s way of shading their exes, Miranda Lambert, 32, and Gavin Rossdale, 50, in yet another song? The album doesn’t come out until May 20, so we have a month until we know for sure, but we’ll be crossing our fingers that they release the audio beforehand!
Things are clearly going better than ever between this hot couple, so don’t worry if you don’t see her hanging around with him on The Voice set! “They may love each other and enjoy spending time together, but she respects his work space and will keep her time around the studios to a minimum,” an insider explained to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She is a professional and knows how hard he works on the show.”
Do you think Blake and Gwen will diss their exes on this new song, HollywoodLifers?
