These guys are good, like really, really good. Like maybe the best team to ever play the game. Their new 73 regular season win record says they are the best team to ever play the sport professionally. Now it is time for the Golden State Warriors to continue to shine into the playoff race and attempt to regain their championship. First up, Houston. Catch the match-up online here!
The Golden State Warriors are in a zone and will be next to impossible to beat. The Warriors are lead by Riley Curry‘s, 3, dad, NBA MVP, Stephen Curry, 28. The guy is almost as amazing as his adorable, scene-stealing, kid. Steph can beat you from anywhere on the court. He can shoot from beyond the half-court line, drive the lane for a dunk and do the fadeaway all day long.
The Houston Rockets however, have a 41-41 record. That means the Houston team doesn’t even have a winning record heading into this mismatch of a first round series. Fans can easily make the argument that the Rocket squad does not belong in the same arena as the superior Warriors.
The Rockets team features a few ballers who are capable of putting up a fight against the Warriors. Khloe Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend James Harden wears #13 for the Rockets and bad-boy Dwight Howard will earn over 22 million bucks this year as a Rocket. Can these guys help the Houston team rise up and match the level of the best team in the history of the NBA? Probably not. But will it be exciting to watch them try? Absolutely, yes. This series may not attract the same celebrity star power as Kobe Bryant‘s final NBA game as a Laker, but we will be watching.
What do you think HollywoodLifers? Who will win this first round battle? Is there any way in the world that the Rockets can win this series? Who will you be rooting for in this playoff match-up?
