Who’s ready to see the democratic presidential candidates to fight dirty? Bernie Sanders, 74, and Hillary Clinton, 68, are just days away from the April 19 New York primary, and they’re fighting with everything they’ve got to get the most votes. The two candidates decided to hold a last minute debate at the Brooklyn Navy Yard today, April 14 at 9:00pm. Click through to watch a live stream of their sure to be volatile debate!
Bernie and Hillary’s ninth presidential debate is expected to be so crazy because of their significant ties to New York. Bernie was born and raised in Brooklyn, where the debate is being held! Hillary was the senator of New York from 2001 to 2009, and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, holds the office for the Bill Clinton Foundation in Harlem. Yeah, things are going to get nasty. Though the democratic debates have been quite tamer than their republican counterparts, it may be over now. Bernie has won seven straight primaries, and is quickly gaining ground on Hillary’s leading delegate count. With the Democratic National Convention just a few months away, it’s do or die time for the two candidates, and they’re not holding back, or being polite, in their debates. Except Bernie to rant hard against Hillary’s tight relationship with Goldman Sachs and big business, and for Hillary to question Bernie’s game plan to follow up on his policies if elected.
Bernie has a huge following with young voters, if his 40,000 supporter turnout at his April 13 rally at Washington Square Park is any indication! He’s likely going to rub that in Hillary’s face! Not to mention her infamous gaffe while trying to ride the subway, where she was unable to swipe her MetroCard for five tries. It’s all fair game!
Prepare to hear Hillary go after Bernie for his gun rights comments. When asked if people should be able to sue a gun manufacturer for facilitating the crimes of the owner, he disagreed. The families of Sandy Hook victims, who were trying to do just that, were outraged and attacked the candidate for his remarks. You better believe that Hillary will do the same! Now who’s excited for this debate to begin?
