This game was the first time the kids have seen their dad since visiting him in the hospital and it’s all because of Kobe. Black Mamba reportedly gave LO tickets to see his final game, per TMZ, and Kobe even threw in 2 extra for the kids. No wonder Lamar called Kobe his “brother” in his touching tribute message!
Though Lamar was once accused of neglecting his kids, they’ve been patching up their relationship. When Lamar took his first photograph after his tragic overdose, his two kids were right in the photo with him. “Christmas with my Pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed,” Lamar Jr. captioned the picture, posted on New Year’s Eve.
Lamar’s kids were right by his side, along with their mother, Liza Morales, 36, when the ex-NBA champion suffered a drug overdose in a Nevada brothel on Oct. 13. Even while he was unconscious and clinging to life, his family – both the Kardashians and the Odoms – were there to see him pull off a miraculous recovery!
“Lamar Jr. and Destiny are really grateful for everything Khloe [Kardashian] has done for their father,” a source close to LO’s family EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. However, Khloe might not be in the picture for much longer, as she’s planning to refile for divorce. However, Lamar’s pretty confident that things are going to end up on a good note.
What do you think about LO reuniting with his kids at Kobe’s last game, HollywoodLifers? Are you happy they’re getting along?
