Oh no! Sexy Joe Manganiello has had to drop out of a great new role due to his health. He was supposed to play the commander of a Navy SEAL team but he has a medical condition that is holding him back.
Say it isn’t so! Joe Manganiello, 39 seems like the most perfect physical male specimen alive, but it turns out he’s got a mystery health issue that has forced him to drop out of a grueling new role. He had been cast as the lead in The History Channel’s new original drama Six, but has had to quit the show, leaving the production at a screeching halt.
Joe had to quit the production due to a health issue and the physical demands of the role, a source told Us, noting that he will be okay n the long run as as it is a manageable preexisting condition. How scary! Joe has always been known for his insane workouts and ripped body so it’s crazy to think he wouldn’t be able to handle the action of playing a Navy SEAL. He seems like he’d be the perfect candidate for the job.
The former True Blood star was slated to play the leader of SEAL Team Six on a mission to eliminate a Taliban leader on the new eight part military drama Six. He was going to play the group’s leader, Rip Taggert, but now the network now is scrambling to find an actor to replace Joe as the show is already in production in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Well, since Joe won’t be down south shooting the new series, at least that should free up some time for him to spend with gorgeous wife Sofia Vergara, 43. The pair wed in an elaborate ceremony in Palm Beach, FL back on Nov. 22 so the couple are still in the honeymoon phase. We’re sure Sophia will be there to tend to whatever ailment was keeping Joe from being able to complete his role on Six.
HollywoodLifers, what other hot, buff actor do you think could replace Joe as a Navy SEAL team leader? Give us your suggestions!
