After 20 amazing years in the NBA, Kobe Bryant, 37, and Nike are saying goodbye to the player haters with a funny ad starring the Laker. See the veteran basketball star orchestrate a chorus of fans, players and haters singing, “I hate you,” in the epic ad below!
The ad starts with Kobe sinking one of his famous fadeaway jumpers at the buzzer, another dagger in the hearts of fans everywhere. He knocked off another opponent. This upsets one fan who shouts, “KOBE, YOU SUCK!” From there the chants of hate emanate from the angry crowd. Unfazed and used to all the negative energy, Kobe takes the opportunity to conduct the orchestra of disappointed fans, hilarious!
Drake, along with many other celebs, have already paid homage to the Laker great who will retire on April 13th after his game against the Utah Jazz. In his decades as a Laker, Kobe has amassed 5 rings, 18 trips to the All-Star game and many, many haters. This ad, which will likely air during his final game, pokes fun at all those angry fans.

Kobe’s former coach Phil Jackson is featured in the ad alongside NBA ballers Paul Pierce and Rasheed Wallace. “I have been hating youuu,” one fan sings as Kobe points him out in the crowd before Phil chimes in alongside an organist with his vocals, “You’re retiring, and you want to be freee.” The ad is awesome and so is Kobe’s amazing career. Love him or hate him, Kobe is a great NBA’er, well respected and will be missed.
