It’s well past due time for a female coach to win ‘The Voice,’ and with the strength of her team on Season 10, I’m totally ready for Christina Aguilera to be the one to do it. All six of her singers completely killed it during the Live Playoffs on April 11, and I will honestly be baffled if one of them is not this season’s winner!
Honestly, The Voice is Christina Aguilera’s to lose this season — the talent-level on her team of six is so incredible, that I simply cannot see any other outcome than one of her amazing artists taking home the title. Of course, it can’t be done without Christina’s help, but if she keeps making the smart moves she has so far, I have no doubt that she’ll finally get the win she’s been waiting for.

Christina and Blake Shelton’s teams kicked off the Live Playoffs during the April 11 episode, and I was absolutely blown away by the performances from Christina’s artists. Obviously, she has the Season 10 frontrunner, Alisan Porter, on her team, and she completely SLAYED as usual, but everyone else also stepped up to the plate, proving that the group as a whole is really a force to be reckoned with.
The 35-year-old came back to Season 10 with a mission to win, and she’s been making the right choices ever since the Blind Auditions to help herself do just that. Despite not getting any chairs to turn in Season 9, Bryan Bautista won Christina over this time around, and his epic rendition of “Pillowtalk” in the Playoffs proved she made a smart move in keeping him around — he totally owned it, and all the coaches were raving about him afterward.
And how about Ryan Quinn and Nick Hagelin? Both guys are super good looking, but also have sweet stories that have won over female viewers across the country. All that on top of being super talented singers? They’re triple threats! And even though Xtina didn’t have either guy on her team to start things out, she waited patiently for an opportunity to steal Ryan in the Knockouts and then choose Nick as her Live Playoff comeback artist. Talk about smart decision making!
Luck might have a little bit to do with it, too. Obviously, Team Blake is the place to go for country singers, but since he didn’t turn around for Kata Hay, Christina was the lucky one who got the red-headed powerhouse on her team. She’s been flawless in each round, and that was no different on April 11. Closing out the team is Tamar Davis, and even though she wasn’t my favorite this week, there’s no denying her talent.
Honestly, I have NO clue how this team is going to be cut in half after the April 13 episode — everyone is just SO good! It will be a sin if one of these incredible artists doesn’t win Season 10…I know I’ll be voting for them!
Do you agree with me that Team Christina needs to win this season, HollywoodLifers? Who’s your favorite contestant?
