Yolanda Foster took center stage during the April 12 season finale of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ Not only did the episode focus on Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump’s alleged claims about her illness, but news of her divorce from David Foster finally emerged.
The general public may have learned about Yolanda and David Foster filing for divorce in December 2015, but on the April 12 season finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we finally got to see how Yolanda’s co-stars reacted to the shocking news.
Everyone was absolutely blindsided when they heard that Yolanda and David were splitting up. Lisa Rinna said she sent Yolanda flowers, and Yolanda told Erika she received multiple texts of support from the ladies, but she just didn’t know how to respond to them. And not because she was upset about her divorce, but because she’s not sure who she can trust anymore. But we’ll get to that later. Yolanda actually moved into a new condo, following the split, and she seemed happy about it.
“I couldn’t live in the same house with David. It was very important to me to find a healing space that is mine and a place for my children to call home,” Yolanda said during the episode. “The new condo feels like a very safe space. We anchored there. That’s where the family belongs for now.”
She then talked to Erika about her divorce, saying, “I’m getting used to it. Before I got married, I moved my family to move together with David. But it feels good to be back on my own. In your own space. If you stop making each other happy, then you shouldn’t be together.”
She also said that “divorce is almost like a death. It’s shocking. David was my life partner. My best friend. And I miss my best friend.” So sad.

But that’s not all that happened on the April 12 season finale. Two months before cameras caught up with the ladies to get their reactions on Yolanda’s divorce, Kyle Richards threw a massive party at her house in Palm Springs. And it was there that Lisa Rinna apologized to Yolanda for claiming she was more manipulative than Lisa Vanderpump. Rinna said she realized she was wrong. She even told Yolanda that Vanderpump started the conversation about Munchausens, but when Yolanda asked Vanderpump if that was true, Vanderpump denied any involvement. She even asked Kyle to back her up, and Kyle did. Yolanda seemed to believe Rinna’s side of the story, but Yolanda left the party feeling hurt by everyone.
Kim Richards was also at the party and she got into a heated conversation with Lisa Rinna about her sobriety. When Kim asked Lisa why she cared so much about her recent hangout with Brandi Glanville and Yolanda, Lisa Rinna said, “Kim, it’s your choice to live your life the way you live your life … I want you to get better.”
Kim didn’t like Lisa’s remark, and she fired back, “I am better. I felt like that’s a dart, like you just threw a dart at me, honestly.” Sadly, they didn’t come to any sort of resolution and Lisa Rinna told Eileen that Kim “hasn’t changed.”
