In their first game, City and PSG drew 2-2 in Paris. City went 1-0 up through Kevin DeBruyne, but PSG fought back through a freak goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. PSG then went ahead in this see-saw match thanks to Adrien Rabiot, but Fernandinho completed City’s fightback with 17 minutes to go.
So, because of their away goals City go into this one with a slight advantage. City’s players know that next season they will be welcoming Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola to their management, so they will want to impress him on the European stage.
The emphasis will rely on City’s Spanish playmaker David Silva and Argentinian superstar Sergio Aguero to provide the home team’s attacking threat.
This tie is on a knife-edge. PSG have the players to win in Manchester, but City are eyeing up their first ever semi-final spot in the competition. It’ll be all about who turns up on the night!
HollywoodLifers, do you think City will complete the job and go through to the semi-final? Or will PSG upset the home fans and go home with the win? Tell us your predictions below!
