Well, this is awkward. One of the absolute biggest criticisms of GOP front runner Donald Trump is that he says terribly misogynist things about women. However, at his CNN town hall on April 12, his daughters Ivanka and Tiffany said he’s ’empowering women’. Here’s the scoop.
Donald Trump’s daughters Ivanka and Tiffany are blasting claims that their father is a misogynist. They accompanied the Republican front runner to his CNN New York town hall on April 12, and explained that Donald actually “inspires” and “empowers women.” It may sound crazy, but here’s their explanation.
When asked about Donald being a misogynist at the New York town hall, Ivanka rushed to defend her father, claiming that he has always pushed her to do her best and supported her as a woman. “I think the facts speak for themselves, I’ve witnessed these incredible female role models that hes employed in the highest executive positions my entire life,” said Ivanka.
“The way he raised me and the way he raised Tiffany is a testament to the fact that he believes in inspiring women and empowering women,” she continued, clearly impassioned. “He always taught me that there wasn’t anything that I couldn’t do if I set my mind to it, if I had deep passion and worked very hard to achieve it. I don’t think that’s a message that a father would relay to a daughter that he didn’t believe had potential to accomplish exactly what her brothers could.”
Tiffany agreed, saying “He has the utmost faith that we can accomplish whatever we put out minds to just as well as men if not better.” Ivanka went on to point out that her dad puts his money where his mouth is where she doesn’t believe other politicians do. “Other politicians talk about gender equality but its not evidenced in their daily employment practices,” she explained.
