They are two giants in their respective sports and for one moment at WrestleMania 32, Shaquille O’Neal, 44, stood nose-to-nose to the biggest Superstar in the WWE, The Big Show, 44. Shaq threw down a challenge to the Big Show for a rematch, and the WWE giant told the NBA legend to bring it!

“Do I look like I’m scared?” The Big Show said when told that Shaq wants a rematch following WrestleMania 32. “He’s got to come to me. I don’t need to go to him.” After that bit of trash talk, the 7-foot-tall athlete said, “There’s always opportunity for [Shaq] to come out and play. When the powers that be…make that decision, I’ll lace up my boots and step in the ring.”
Challenge: accepted! Shaq wasn’t happy with the outcome of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 on April 10. Shaq entered the 20-man fight last, and it looked like he and Show were going to fight, but it took fifteen WWE Superstars to eliminate him!
“I’ve been wanting Big Show for years,” Shaq said following his loss. Shaq said he wasn’t happy with how he was “double-teamed, quadruple-teamed” in the match and that he wanted Show one-on-one. The NBA champion then told WWE owner Vince McMahon, 70, that he’s “ready to take on Big Show, whenever, wherever.”
Shaq wouldn’t be the first major celebrity The Big Show has faced in a WWE ring. During WrestleMania 24, Big Show took on Floyd Mayweather, 39. Floyd kicked off the feud by breaking Show’s nose, but per the Inquistr, that was Show’s idea! “I said ‘if you don’t break my nose, we’re dead in the water and we need to get people emotionally invested in this,’” Big Show said. “I went down on my knees, stuck my face out and closed my eyes to get my nose broken.”
Hopefully, this Show’s showdown with Shaq doesn’t break anything but attendance records. John Cena, 38, will admit that getting busted open is not fun! Now, the main question is: when will these two fight? Will Shaq turn WWE’s SummerSlam into a SummerSlam-Dunk?
