A birth, a miscarriage and an engagement — the April 11 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’ was full of drama, especially for Jenelle Evans, who freaked out when her lawyer started defending her ex, Nathan Griffith, and his new girlfriend.
The girls of Teen Mom 2 went through some major changes on the April 11 episode. Not only did Kailyn Lowry reveal she suffered a miscarriage, but Jenelle Evans asked her new boyfriend to move in with her, and Chelsea Houska got engaged!
Jenelle revealed she hadn’t seen Jace in a few weeks, but she blamed that on her mom, Barbara. Then, she invited David to move in with her and said she hopes to have custody of Jace again within the next two years. Later, Jenelle’s ex, Nathan Griffith, and his new girlfriend went to court to address Jenelle assaulting her. Jenelle didn’t have to go, but maybe she should have. Jenelle’s lawyer called her up after the court hearing and said there’s not much she can do because Jenelle threw a mason jar at Nathan’s girlfriend in her driveway. Since it wasn’t inside Jenelle’s house, it’s not considered an act of defense. Then, Jenelle’s lawyer started suggesting she come up with some sort of custody agreement with Nathan, but Jenelle just kept shaking her head. And when the lawyer said his new girlfriend is a good person, Jenelle lost it. She hung up on her lawyer and stormed into the bedroom before yelling a bunch of expletives.
This week, Cole took Chelsea into the woods and proposed to her. It was more romantic than it sounds, and Aubree was there to witness the sweet moment. Then, Chelsea met with her mom and dad — separately — to break the big news. Papa Randalicious already knew, though, because Cole called him up and asked for permission before proposing.
Poor Kailyn. After learning Javi would be deployed overseas, she suffered a miscarriage. Javi wanted someone to blame, so he fought with Kailyn about it. Because of this, they took some time apart, and she visited her friend Sterling in New Mexico. It was then that she broke the news of her miscarriage on camera and started crying. When she returned home, she told Javi how she felt, and he apologized for treating her so badly.
Leah was still crying about losing custody of her twins, but when she discovered Corey and Miranda gave birth to their baby early, she tried using it as a ploy to get more time with their daughters. Corey said no and Leah didn’t understand why, but maybe she will once she watches this episode because she was extremely late taking Ali to choir practice. And she didn’t even notice when Aleeah snuck their cat into the truck. (Have we mentioned how much we love Aleeah?)
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Corey let Leah see the twins more? Are you glad Cole and Chelsea got engaged? Were you surprised to learn about Kailyn’s miscarriage? And does Jenelle’s lawyer have a point? Tell us below!
