It’s time, kids! After hearing Quentin gush about Fillory throughout the entire first season of The Magicians, we finally get to watch as he and his childhood BFF, Julia, arrive and explore the whimsical land.
In this EXCLUSIVE preview provided to HollywoodLife.com of the season one finale, Quentin and Julia are strolling through the gorgeous wooded area of Fillory in total awe — and rightfully so. It’s one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen on the show so far, filled with unique flowers and plants that seem to be made purely of magic. Unfortunately, the exciting moment doesn’t last very long.
Quentin and Julia seem to be traveling with Martin Chatwin, who gets spooked when the wind picks up and clocks that were hidden in plain sight all around them start making noise. Martin warns his new friends by saying, “She’s coming. The Watcherwoman,” and then takes off in the opposite direction.
When Quentin goes after him he doesn’t get very far before running right into The Watcherwoman — a mysterious cloaked figure that takes Quentin by surprise. As this is happening, we flash to Quentin sitting in the dark writing down his experience in Fillory by candlelight. Creepy, much?
That’s when Quentin reveals that The Watcherwoman comes with a twist. Make sure you watch the full EXCLUSIVE preview above, and then tune into The Magicians finale on Monday night, April 11, at 9/8c only on Syfy.
