Kate and Prince William were paying tribute to India’s war victims at the country’s national memorial, but the breeze just could not be controlled, and Kate’s dress was flying all over the place. Photographers caught the 34-year-old attempting to pull the skirt down while still performing her Royal duties, and luckily, she didn’t show too much before getting everything back into place.
The Duchess looked gorgeous in a white dress and matching shoes with her hair in loose curls for the couple’s first trip to India. She stood by William’s side as he placed a gorgeous wreath at the memorial, on which he wrote, “Never forgetting those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for India.” Kate signed her name on the arrangement alongside her husband’s.
Despite the awkward wardrobe malfunction, Kate remained ever the professional, and even happily posed for photos with William afterward.
Over the weekend, the couple also attended a tech event in Mumbai. “Catherine and I are very impressed by the energy and ideas we have just seen,” the Duke said in a short speech. “Being here today, it is clear that India is leading the way in so many areas of innovation and technology. Your ability to innovate is not just good news for India, but good news for the world. With one sixth of the world’s population, young innovators like you might play a major role.”
What do you think of Kate’s wardrobe malfunction, HollywoodLifers? Do you think she recovered well?
