Kate Middleton took her blowout to the next level at the Queen’s 90th Birthday celebration in India. Find out how you can copy her half-up, half-down curly hair look, ahead!
Kate Middleton, 34, dressed up her royal blowout while touring India and Bhutan with husband, Prince William. The Duke and Duchess made for a picture perfect couple at a birthday celebration for the Queen at the gardens of the British High Commissioner’s residence in New Delhi on April 11. Wearing a matching printed maxi skirt and crop top from Alice Temperley, Kate wore her hair pinned halfway up and styled in soft, shiny curls.
Kate obviously has the sleek blowout mastered, but for her latest public appearance, she opted for more curls, pinning back sections on either side of her face. To copy her look, start by prepping your hair while it’s still damp with a mousse like Show Beauty Lux Volume Mousse.
Blow dry your hair out with a round brush, then use a curling wand and curl large sections of your hair away from your face. Create a rough center part and use bobby pins to pin back small sections on either side of your head for the half-up, half-down look Kate was wearing.
To give the whole look hold while adding a healthy shine to your curls, finish by misting Show Beauty Premiere Finishing Spray throughout your hair.
True to form, Kate has looked amazing so far on her Royal Tour of India and Bhutan. Kicking things off back in London in a sheer navy and polka dot dress, Kate’s tour looks since have included lots of bold colored outfits and classic hair and makeup. Wearing lots of printed ensembles, including a red number from Alexander McQueen, Kate’s latest birthday celebration is our favorite one yet.
