Poor Jodie Sweetin! The ‘Fuller House’ star danced the cha-cha during Apr. 11’s ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ but audience noise caused her to lose count and mess up. She was then nearly reduced to tears after a harsh critique!
Uh oh! No mistakes will get past the eyes of the DWTS judges and actress Jodie Sweetin, 34 and her professional partner Keo Motsepe, 30, learned that the hard way! Carrie Ann Inaba, 48, really took Jodie to task for a few missteps in her routine and it ended up bringing her to the verge of an on-air breakdown afterwards!

Co-host Erin Andrews, 37, remarked in their post-dance interview that Jodie was tearing up a little bit. She sweetly explained that, “I get frustrated because we worked really hard and nailed it and then I was like AARGHH and I panicked but I didn’t stop and I kept going, but it happens, it’s okay,” while composing herself. Not only did she feel terrible about messing up, it sure didn’t help that Carrie Ann totally took her to task about it!
“It was an underwhelming performance and I know that you know that. But what happened?” judge Carrie Ann pointedly asked after Jodie and Keo’s cha-cha performance. “I couldn’t hear. I couldn’t hear the music,” she responded pointing to her ear, but that wasn’t enough for Carrie who kept on hammering away.
“It was like you were marking, it was like you guys couldn’t get in sync so..” Carrie Ann continued before Jodie jumped in to defend herself, noting “Our amazing fans were so wonderful and screaming that I couldn’t hear the music.,” but that still didn’t satisfy Carrie Ann. “It’s so nice to receive all that energy, but it’s important to zoom into each other. I kind of felt that when you got a little lost you didn’t quite go into queue,” she concluded. Man Carrie Ann, Jodie knew she messed up, there was no reason to keep bringing her down about it!
Jodie’s missteps really caught up with her when it came to the scoring. Carrie Ann, Bruno Tonoli, and guest judge Zendaya, 19, all gave her seven out of ten while Len Goodman was more harsh, giving the couple just a six. Jodie and Keo were put in jeopardy when it came to the show’s last elimination last week, and luckily her rhythm goof doesn’t get them the boot this time around!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Carrie Ann was too hard on Jodie about her mess-up?
