During some major father-son bonding time, Chris Pratt sweetly showed his son, Jack, the ropes of bass fishing. He even caught the precious moment on camera and seriously, this may be the cutest thing you watch all week!
We definitely didn’t think it was possible for Chris Pratt, 36, and Anna Faris‘, 39, son Jack, 3, to get any cuter, but during an adorable fishing trip, Chris TOTALLY proved us wrong! In fact, this may be the cutest father-son pair we’ve ever seen. The toddler was so excited for his dad to teach him how to fish that he couldn’t help smiling the entire time — SO sweet!
“This kid will be my partner in the bass masters pro am when he’s old enough,” Chris captioned the April 10 video starring Jack. “We’ll take the bass fishing world by storm. Tag me with picks of monster bass. Cmon! They’re spawning!” Aw — obviously the actor is super pumped about his son casting his first fishing line. And clearly the little guy’s got talent too, just look at his effortless technique!
In the Insta video, which was shot at a backyard lake, the tot adjusted quickly to the new sport as he excitedly cast his fishing rod with his dad at his side. “Yes!” Jack shouted happily when the line landed in the water. Next, Chris instructed his son, “Now, reel it in slow and feel for nibbles.” Unfortunately, little Jack was disappointed to find no fish bit the bait. “That didn’t work!” he revealed to his dad, who chuckled in the background. Can this kid GET any cuter?
But although Jack didn’t snatch a fish on his first try, the blonde cutie ended up walking away with a pretty impressive trophy. “This little dude is bass fishing crazy. Just like his daddy!” Chris captioned a photo of Jack proudly holding up his catch. Like father like son, right?

The fishing expedition went down just hours before the world watched Chris accept the golden popcorn for Best Action Performance at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. But we love how at heart, Chris is a family man and had no problem enjoying a low-key evening with his son. “It is really, very easy to be patient with this kid,” he told Ellen DeGeneres, 58, last year. “He’s just a remarkable kid.”
How sweet is Chris’ video, HollywoodLifers? Sound off!
