Susan Boyle was spotted having a breakdown in a UK airport lounge, while making a phone call, and was overheard shouting ‘Help me’ before airport staff calmed her down, a report says. Click here for the full details.
We hope she’s ok. Susan Boyle, 55, was seen to be in a state of emotional distress when she was traveling home from Derry Airport in Northern Ireland, according to a new report. The Britain’s Got Talent phenomenon was spied screaming “Help me” during a phone call in an airport lounge.
Poor Susan, who has admitted in the past she suffers with Aspergers Syndrome, had to be calmed down by airport staff and was taken into a private room away from onlookers.
“There was quite a buzz in the airport when people became aware of her presence,” a witness explained to UK tabloid Sunday People. “To see her running through the airport after she left to board the flight, screaming for help, was the last thing anyone expected to see.”
The paper said that a friend of Susan’s had told them that the reality TV winner was upset because her brother had left earlier than planned and she felt vulnerable because she had to take a flight on her own. Her assistant was said to have flown out of Glasgow to collect her.
A spokesperson from the City of Derry Airport wouldn’t confirm the incident, saying they don’t comment on passengers on commercial flights.
We hope that Susan sorted her issue out, and any problems with her brother were resolved. No one wants to see anybody suffer mentally or physically, as she must’ve felt so desperately lost.
