OMG! We’ve got a long wait until ‘Suicide Squad’ hits theaters on Aug. 5, but a newly released clip during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards leaves us totally wanting more! Read on for more details on what has been revealed!
What a better place to drop new scenes from the highly anticipated Suicide Squad film than the MTV Movie Awards! A packed house full of movie fans erupted with applause as we got to see Margot Robbie, 25, (Harley Quinn), Will Smith, 47, (Deadshot), Jared Leto, 44, (The Joker) and Cara Delevingne, 23, (Enchantress) hit the stage to introduce new footage from the highly anticipated DC comics film. Ready, set, let’s go for what they had to show us!
Will, Margot, Cara and Jared all looked incredible as the foursome came out to introduce hotly awaited new clips from their surefire hit. DJ Khaled‘s “All I Do is Win” played when and the four started dancing for the audience. Jared was so excited it got the best of him and he let out some crude remarks, including,”Sweat, blood and semen, anal beads…it’s all in this movie,” as well as,”I can’t wait to share it with you crazy mother f***ers,” about his new film.
The clip showed the newly freed supervillains doing lots of shooting, fighting and reminding us all that they are actually bad guys, even if they are being used for good. Even the Batmobile makes an appearance as well as the darkened backside of the Caped Crusader! Set to the classic rock hit “Ballroom Blitz,” the clip was full of energy and even some laughs. We just want to know who they’re fighting against!
People are getting a little too excited for the film, as members of the audience on the Warner Bros. back lot tried to storm the stage when the cast appeared to show some brand new clips from the upcoming smash. According to the LA Times, the fans were so hyped up that they almost toppled the metal barricades holding them in the audience section! Well, Will did ask for CHAOS from the fans!
“We’re all good bad guys at the end of the day,” Cara revealed on the red carpet about the movie. This is the first new clip we’ve seen since the movie debuted its official trailer on Jan. 19. For the uninitiated, the characters are imprisoned supervillains that a secret government agency recruit to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Yeah, in other words they’re serious bada**es.
