#NeverForget the greatest moment in MTV Movie Awards history: When Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, who were dating at the time, won the award for Best Kiss in 2005. The lovebirds faced off on separate sides of the stage and she literally ran into his arms for the steamy makeout session. #RIPRachel&Ryan!!!!
And we can’t talk about the Best Kiss award without mentioning Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. The two, who also dated in real life, won the honor at the show in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 for their lip locks in the Twilight movies, but unlike The Notebook couple, they weren’t so public about reenacting the move. In fact, in 2011, Rob opted to plant a huge smooch on Taylor Lautner just to avoid showing any PDA with his real-life lady love!
There’s also been some incredible performances in the show’s history: Who could forget when Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Mya and Pink got together for a live rendition of “Lady Marmalade?!” SUPER hot. And what about Jennifer Lopez teaming up with a disguised Tom Cruise for a booty-popping show? SO hilarious!
Feeling nostalgic? Don’t worry, we’re here to help! Click through the gallery above to check out more buzzed-about MTV Movie Awards moments, and make sure to tune into the show on April 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET!
