The headpiece Mike wore to the Movie Awards is the same one he wore in the video for “I Took A Pill In Ibiza,” so he was more than likely just trying to promote the track, but if you ask us, he looked bizarre on the red carpet. Perhaps he had a wild night before attending the awards show, and thought the mask would be a clever way to hide his messy look. Regardless, we’re not a fan of the giant accessory.

We think the whole hiding-the-face thing belongs to Sia, who has been doing it for a number of years now. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, she very rarely shows her face, but during her recent appearance on American Idol, she gave the Top 4 contestants a special glimpse of it. Most of the time, she’s wearing a giant wig that covers her face, and it has actually helped her become a household name. Perhaps Mike is just trying to do the same thing with his giant mask.
