Aww! Jennifer Lopez showed some love towards ex-husband Cris Judd during ‘American Idol’s epic series finale. He had backup dancing duties during one of the performances!
Jennifer Lopez, 46, and Cris Judd, 46, divorced 13 years ago, but apparently there’s still plenty of fondness between the pair as he scored a coveted backup dancing spot on the epic American Idol finale. Those positions were probably REALLY hard to come by, but with his ex-wife as one of the show’s three judges, we have a feeling he had a pretty good reference!
Cris confirmed he’d be on the show in some capacity as he posted a backstage Instagram photo captioned “Getting ready for the Final Farewell Show! American Idol Season 15!” Since he’s always been a sought after backup dancer naturally we assumed that’s what he would be doing. Sure enough, as soon as Idol alum Larry Platt hit the stage to perform his iconic “Pants on the Ground,” there was Chris shaking his thang!
He showed he still has the same sexy moves that made Jennifer fall hard for him when he was her backup dancer in 2000. Cris looked smoking hot with his shaved head, a black jacket and black jeans as he worked the choreography. Stream Jennifer’s music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.
You can check out Cris in action around the 5:50 mark in this video:
Cris and Jennifer were married from 2001-2003, and she even made him her lead choreographer for her performances when they were a couple. But then she started working on the movie Gigli with Ben Affleck, 43, and soon Jennifer filed for divorce and Bennifer was born.
Jen definitely has a thing for hoofers, as after her split from ex-husband Marc Anthony, 47, she turned around and fell for Casper Smart, 29, who just so happened to be one of her backup dancers at the time. While they were coupled up for a few years, they still remain close friends and Casper was even Jen’s date to the big Idol finale. Wow, two exes under one roof and they both happen to have the same talent. What are the chances of that!
