It’s not only the competition who are going head-to-head on ‘The Voice!’ Coach Adam Levine has reportedly by ‘butting heads’ with Miley Cyrus, who was a mentor this season and will be a judge next!
Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus are apparently too similar to actually get along. While she’s a mentor on this season of The Voice, and the producers clearly love her, Adam actually finds her annoying, according to a new report.
“They both have short attention spans,” a source told Us magazine. “They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”
Well, they better get used to each other soon! Adam will be spending much more time with her come season 11 when she takes Christina Aguilera‘s spot as a judge. Of course, They will have another newcomer in between them — Alicia Keys.
It doesn’t come as a surprise that Miley is getting along great with fellow judge, Blake Shelton, since they do have those common country roots. Plus, we know NBC is pretty excited, as they should be, to have Miley.
“The Voice has probably seen every singer out there. The pool of singers that try out for The Voice or American Idol is saturated. A lot of people come back and try multiple times to be a part of the show,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “But Mark Burnett, among many reasons, feels that Miley is going to spark interest in singers young and old and quirky, that may have never applied before. It should add an amazing element to what The Voice already offers.”
Well if anyone can inspire new talent, it’s Miley Cyrus. However, we’re hoping the butting heads will pass soon — we know Adam and Miley could be a power duo if they ever chose to work together! Don’t you agree, HollywoodLifers?
