The competition is heating up for La’Porsha Renae, who just made it to the final two on American Idol. However, she already feels like a winner! La’Porsha told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she “wouldn’t be upset” if the other contestant beats her for the top spot! Here’s why.

It’s official! La’Porsha will be taking on Trent Harmon in the finale. We had the chance to talk to La’Porsha before the show, and she was super inspired by Adam Lambert’s visit. “I love Adam Lambert, I voted for him,” La’Porsha told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I am jealous of some of the notes that he hits. I am, and I’m a women and I can’t hit those notes.”

However, we couldn’t help but ask if it makes her nervous that she is an obvious front runner, and so was Adam before his stunning loss. Rather than nervous, La’Porsha felt calmed by Adam’s success. “Well thank you! Seeing Adam come back gave hope to all of us, just to make it as far as I have so far is a blessing,” La’Porsha told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I don’t think many of us will be upset if we lose from this point.”

“Having Adam back proves that you don’t have to win the show to be successful so it was a very empowering moment to see him come back on the stage and see how great he is going,” she continued EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “Obviously only one person can win but Idol is such a great platform that being even Top 24 there are doors that open for you, because of all the exposure and networking that you do.”
