Eva Longoria, 41, looked as flawless as any of the diamonds Old Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor famously collected and named her perfume after. Honoring Elizabeth and her White Diamonds perfume in NYC, Eva took a moment to share what the timeless fragrance meant to her. “I have a long history with White Diamonds,” she said. “It was the first perfume I had to save my allowance to buy,” she said, adding with a laugh,”I just wanted diamonds in my room.”
Eva chose a classic beauty look in honor of the occasion, that’s easy to create. To copy her look, after perfecting the skin with foundation and concealer, concentrate on her statement smokey eye. Blend soft neutral shadows to your lid and along the crease of your eye with taupe and brown shades from the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude.
Line your top lash line with a black liner like the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte-Matic Liner in Black, then create a thicker line along your lower lash line. Finish by curling your lashes and adding several coats of mascara like the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Volume Building Mascara.
The classic White Diamonds scent, with notes like Amazon lily, tuberose, amber and sandalwood, makes the perfect gift for mom this Mother’s Day if you’re still struggling with ideas. Or, if you’re mom is already a fan of the original, gift her the new White Diamonds Night. A darker take on the original, Night blends blooming jasmine and apricot with musk and resins.
