Yikes! After Donald Trump second place finish to Ted Cruz in the Wisconsin primary April 5, he’s accusing his opponent of committing a ‘crime’ and stealing! Read on to see the very serious charges he’s levelling against his Republican opponent.
Uh oh! Donald Trump, 69, is known for speaking off the cuff and without much forethought, but he may have gone a bit too far after losing the Wisconsin Republican primary to Ted Cruz, 45, where he claimed Ted had done something criminal. He’s already bashed him as a cheater, but Donald’s campaign later revealed that they believe Ted coordinated with anti-Trump Super PACs during the state’s primary, which would be a major violation of federal election laws.

“Lyin’ Ted Cruz had the governor of Wisconsin, many conservative talk radio show hosts, and the entire party apparatus behind him,” Donald’s campaign released in a statement following the primary’s results “Not only was he propelled by the anti-Trump super PACs spending countless millions of dollars on false advertising against Mr. Trump, but he was coordinating with his own super PACs (which is illegal) who totally control him,” it went on to say. Whoa! Those are some pretty serious charges he’s throwing Ted’s way.
“Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet – he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump.” While is is true that many Super PAC’s funded by wealthy Republican donors spent heavily on anti-Trump ads in the state, Donald’s campaign failed to provide actual proof that Ted and his campaign was directly involved.
So far Ted has yet to comment on Donald’s allegations that he committed a crime by working directly with Super PAC’s, but if we know one thing about the tycoon is that he’s going to keep beating this drum until he gets some kind of response out of the Texas Senator. Their battle in Wisconsin provided some of their most horrible attacks on each other to date, and it’s only going to get worse as the big make or break New York Republican primary looms on April 19.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Donald should me making claims that Ted committed a crime without any proof of it?
