‘The Walking Dead’: Fan Slows Down Final Scene To Reveal Negan’s Victim — Watch

OMG!!! Has a super fan solved the mystery of which character on ‘The Walking Dead’ is on the receiving end of Negan’s lethal barbed-wire baseball bat ‘Lucille’? The slowed down audio might give away the answer of who is being killed off.

The Walking Dead left its fans with one of the biggest cliffhangers ever on TV, where season six came to and end with one of our beloved characters being beaten to death by newly introduced super bad guy Negan. The dramatic final scene didn’t show who his victim was, but an intrepid fan claims that they’ve slowed down the audio to reveal a certain character’s name being called out!

It is going to be a very long six months as we wait to find out who Negan’s victim was, following his creepy eeny-meeny-miny-moe game of which character meets their death at his hands. The camera showed the point of view of the victim, so we could only see the deadly blows from Lucille coming down as the screen went dark. But a fan has slowed down the audio from those last moments and claims that one character’s name is being cried out as they are bludgeoned to death.

The show’s EP, Gale Anne Hurd, has confirmed that season seven’s premiere will reveal who died in the finale on April 3. It’s unclear if they will continue with the same scene, but either way we’ll get our answer. The show has been SO good at keeping secrets that we’re really only going to know for sure once it returns in the fall of 2016. So BEWARE if you click on the video above, it could be a HUGE spoiler, or it could just be one fan’s take on the death scene.

Fans of the show were completely stunned and openly angry when the season concluded on such a nail-biting ending, without revealing who Negan’s victim was. He’d been built up all season long and we only got a few brief minutes of him at the very end of the show, as well as no clue as to who he might have killed. It’s going to be a long wait until October rolls around, so hopefully we don’t get any more potential spoilers that could ruin the season seven’s premiere.
