Kylie Jenner, 18, is taking over the April issue of Paper magazine, and true to Kylie form, she’s doing it in the most over-the-top way possible. As the cover star of the mag’s YOUth issue, Kylie took on a cartoon appearance with a plastic cotton candy pink wig and lips (perhaps poking fun at all of the controversy around her rumored plastic surgery?).
The social media savvy reality TV star excitedly shared her new cover on Instagram, saying: “Wow wow wow my @papermagazine COVER (😱) on newsstands 4/12. This is so amazing. Photographed by @erikmadiganheck styled by @rushkabergman #YOUth (and yes my eyes and lips are edited to look bigger) 💙.”
Oversized lips and rainbow bright wigs are nothing new from Kylie, but the cartoon take on the look certainly is. Kylie revealed that not only were her bright pink lips digitally enhanced for the cover, but so were her eyes, which were made up with a dramatic cat eye and faux lashes by makeup artist Joyce Bonelli.
If you’re wondering where you’ve seen this look before, we actually saw a few behind-the-scenes pictures of Kylie in the pink wig back in December when she shot the cover. And it looks like we can expect even more crazy colored wigs dreamed up by Kylie’s go-to, Tokyo Stylez, from the shoot.

But Kylie’s Paper cover isn’t her only big news. Just last week, Kylie and model sis Kendall Jenner celebrated the launch of their newest clothing line with Neiman Marcus. Kylie also extended her Kylie Cosmetics line to include lip glosses (which she announced through her very own music video), starting out with three shades, named Like, Literally and So Cute.
