Carrie Underwood quickly went from being an American Idol winner to the queen of country music, and she further proved why she’s worthy of that throne during her performance of “Church Bells” at the Academy Of Country Music Awards on April 3!

Dressed in a futuristic outfit, styled by, Marina Toybina, Carrie strutted her perfectly toned legs all over the stage while excitedly singing her sexy new single, “Church Bells.” She also played the drums! Carrie did such an amazing job that even Miranda Lambert, who won an award immediately after Carrie’s performance, explained how she’s a huge fan of the American Idol winner. And we weren’t surprised — Carrie always leaves a lasting impression during each of her performances. We would just watch her sing all day, every day if we could. She’s that good.

The last time Carrie Underwood performed at a big awards show was during the Grammy Awards in February, when she and Sam Hunt teamed up for an epic performance of their biggest hits, “Heartbeat” and “Take Your Time.” It was just as flawless as Carrie’s performance was at this year’s ACM Awards. If we’re being honest, she can do no wrong — girl knows how to slay!
Other performers at the ACM Awards included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Cassadee Pope, Blake Shelton, Katy Perry, Dolly Parton, Jason Aldean, Nick Jonas and more! It was an amazing show, and Carrie stood out as one of our favorite moments of the night.
