She was a huge reality TV star.
Pratyusha tried her hand at reality fame after her Balika Vadhu days, first joining the competition series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2012. Think the Indian version of the UK hit Strictly Come Dancing, or our own Dancing With the Stars! She also competed on Big Boss in 2013, the Indian answer to Big Brother. She recently appeared on the reality show Power Couple.
She was engaged to fellow Bollywood star Rahul Singh.
Pratyusha got engaged to longtime boyfriend, Bollywood superstar Rahul Singh, 47, in December 2015. They appeared on the reality show Power Couple together. She accused men posing as cops of molesting her.
In January 2016, Pratyusha told police that four men posing as cops entered her home and molested her; they left when she threatened to call the authorities. The police denied this, saying that four legit, plainclothes officers went to her house to question her fiancé. This doesn’t explain the molestation claim, and is absolutely disgusting.
