Is there nothing he can’t do? Chris Hemsworth showed off his drama skills with an Oscar-worthy reading of a hit Rihanna song on UK radio station BBC Radio 1 on Mar. 31. His sexy rendition has to be seen to be believed. Click here to see the video and prepare to swoon!
Just when you think Chris Hemsworth, 32, can’t get any sexier he manages to raise the bar once again. The Huntsman: Winter’s War actor appeared on BBC Radio 1 in the UK on Mar. 31, and gave a very subtle, but moody reading of Rihanna‘s hit song “Work” that just had us swooning even more!
The Aussie hunk appeared as a guest on Nick Grimshaw‘s hugely popular Breakfast Show when he was asked to give an adaptation of the RiRi’s anthem. But rather than sing the tune, he opted to smoothly dictate it, just like he was reciting a play by William Shakespeare!
Going through the lyrics, which are quite repetitive in nature, Chris has never made the word “work” or “dirt” seem so sexy! We wonder what RiRi thinks? Will she get Chris to recite her next hit?
Who knows, but he certainly felt at ease with the words. He joked with host Nick, “It drummed up a whole lot of feelings and emotions and past experiences.” He continued, “It makes you just want to get to work. You hear that, kids? Get a job.”
Meanwhile, despite oozing masculinity, Chris has said he’s somewhat of a feminist. The Thor actor was asked by Radio Times if he thought of himself as feminist. He replied, “Oh yeah, for sure. My mum’s a big feminist. I think that my views on things, as far as respect for women and so on, came from my mum. My dad has a very balanced and respectful view on a lot of things too. They were huge positive influences in my life.”
He’s the perfect man, isn’t he? We can’t wait to see The Huntsman: Winter’s War when it gets released on Apr. 22. It’s bound to be another epic movie!
