Okay, Kanye West’s new track is 6 minutes of epicness. “Saint Pablo” addresses everything about his life for the last six months or so when we thought he was losing it, and it’s intense. He talks about his Tidal deal, his internet tirades and calls himself “Einstein”, but the most shocking part is when he says he and Kim Kardashian will “die broke.” Listen for yourself, here!
Kanye is leaving no stone un-turned in his new song “Saint Pablo” featuring singer Sampha. He addresses everything from Tidal to Twitter, but the most interesting is his verse on his debt. He claims that his friends and family take advantage of his kindness and beg for handouts even when they know he doesn’t have the money. “My wife said I can’t say no to nobody and at this rate we’re ‘gon both die broke, I got friends that ask me for money knowing I’m in debt, and like my wife said I still didn’t say no.”
Of course, Kanye being Kanye, he also had to throw in a line about how he’s god’s gift to the world. “I know I’m the most influential. That TIME cover was just confirmation. This generation’s closest thing to Einstein. So don’t worry about me, I’m fine,” he raps. Coming from a guy who calls himself a “creative genius,” the Einstein line isn’t that surprising.

He also explains why he chose to work with Jay Z’s Tidal exclusively, instead of taking money from Apple. “When I was negotiating with Apple, it was Larry and me. Told Tim Cook to call me, I was scary to see. I would’ve took a hundred million and gave twenty to Hov. I heard it’s the way they did it when we only had the stove. But it’s better that I stayed at home with my folks, cause if Jay a billionaire then I’ma never go broke.” Honestly this may be the best track from Life of Pablo yet.
