Slayonce is back! Minutes after announcing her new clothing line, queen Bey also showed off not one, but two new magazine covers for ‘Elle.’ Get the details on her natural curls and barely-there makeup.
When you look as good as Beyoncé, 34, you need two covers to show off your style (and to talk about all of your major plans). For the May issue of Elle magazine, Beyoncé is taking over both the US and UK editions, as well as all of our closets with her new fitness line, Ivy Park.

For her US Elle cover, Bey rocks one of her own Ivy Park designs with her hair styled into natural curls and natural makeup. Celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble, who frequently works with Beyoncé, was behind her cover looks, no doubt defining Bey’s curls with one of her own curl-enhancing products like her Bounce Back Curl Cream.
Beyoncé’s main makeup man, Sir John, gave her a barely-there makeup look to go with her casual fitness clothes and effortless hair. Keeping her skin clean with a subtle contour, Sir John focused on defined brows, a hint of neutral shadow and mascara on Bey’s eyes and a clear gloss on her lips.
For her UK cover, Beyoncé’s curls are pulled back into a loose updo that really shows off her flawless skin. Elle also teased more Bey to come from the mag with their Instagram announcement, saying: “@BEYONCE gives a rare interview in our May Women in Music issue. Stay tuned for the article and more exclusive images next week.”
Beyoncé’s double cover news came right after she took to her Instagram to announce the launch of her very own fitness clothing line, Ivy Park. The line, which includes everything from Ivy Park adorned sports bras and sweatshirts to leggings and headbands, will be available in stores and online on April 14 at Topshop, Nordstrom and Zalando, and already has us inspired to hit the gym.
