Next week’s episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’ is going to be heart wrenching to watch. In the sneak peek, we finally see the moment Leah Messer finds out that she has lost primary custody of her twin daughters, Aleeah and Aliannah. Click to see the clip!
Leah’s ex-husband Corey Simms has been worried sick about their girls’ wellbeing and he took action. The young dad went to court and requested to become the custodial parent of their twin daughters and he won. In the short clip, we see Leah’s lawyer Lyne Ranson, break the news to her and try to explain that the new arrangement. Obviously, Leah is upset, but she doesn’t seem shocked. It’s as if she knew this was coming.
“I wanted to go over the order that we got with you,” Lyne tells Leah. “There are certain things about it that I don’t think are right – the custodial parent. The judge said that the custodial responsibility had been flipped to the father.” She tells Leah she will have the girls every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and is only required to bring them to school on Monday mornings.
Since filming, Leah has cleaned up her act and was able to win back custody of the twins. “When I talk to the girls about co-parenting changes, I kind of listen to how they feel and support them,” Leah recently told MTV News. “I have been focusing more on how they feel — instead of how I feel, or Corey, or Miranda, or Jeremy, or Jeremy’s girlfriend. It doesn’t matter.”
