Perrie Edwards is so tired of fans giving their two sense when it comes to her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik. The Little Mix star is calling out the haters in her new ‘Cosmopolitan’ interview and you won’t believe what she has to say!
Don’t mess with Perrie Edwards. The Little Mix star dated Zayn Malik for four years before calling off their engagement in August of 2015. Now that he’s dating Gigi Hadid, she feels dragged into an unwanted love triangle with the model and that’s the last thing that she wants.
The gorgeous singer tells Cosmopolitan UK that just because she’s famous doesn’t mean that gives people the right to judge her love life. “When it’s your personal life, something you’re going through, I think people should f**k off and have respect,” she said. “At the end of the day, we are real people going through real things.” We can totally understand where she’s coming from, especially since Zayn is the one who moved on first and appears to have been the one to end their relationship. No break up is easy and is must be so much harder when you’re famous and everyone is constantly talking about your personal life. But she seems stronger than ever and we’re sure she’ll find a hottie when she’s ready.
Perrie also says that it’s not just her love life that’s difficult about being in the spotlight. She says that the mean comments from internet trolls can really get to her. “At the beginning, I used to search ‘Little Mix’ and ‘Perrie’ online,” she told the mag. “You can read a thousand lovely comments about yourself and then one bad one sticks in your head forever. It’s like being at school with a group of really nasty people. Someone once wrote that I had ‘cankles,’ and now I have issues with my ankles. I think they are the biggest, chunkiest things in the world. If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t talk!”
HollywoodLifers, do you agree with Perrie that fans should mind their own business when it comes to her personal life?
