Poor Kyrie Irving! His NBA opponents are going to be coming hard at him over the drama involving his suicidal ex-girlfriend Kehlani. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details on how he’s going to be getting plenty of heat about it every time he plays.
Uh oh! Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard Kyrie Irving, 24, is going to be getting plenty of trash talk on the court following the chaos in his personal life. Kyrie’s ex girlfriend Kehlani, 20, tried to kill herself March 28 following allegations she cheated on him, only to later reveal they’d broken up and she was madly in love with her ex, rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR, 24. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that his opponents are going use all of Kyrie’s personal drama as ammo to wear him down mentally.
“The NBA has a tradition of trash talk that is like none other and Kyrie is expecting to hear some real vulgar and vicious words from the upcoming teams that the Cavs will be playing,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Even though Kehlani admitted after her suicide attempt that she and the hoops star had a bad breakup recently, she dragged him into a major drama that is a distraction he totally doesn’t need right now.
It’s going to be hard for him to focus on his March 29 game against the Houston Rockets with all that’s gone down in the past 24 hours, but his fellow Cavs are telling him to expect it and use it to make him stronger. “His teammates believe the same thing is bound to happen and they are telling Kyrie to use it as fuel to play the best he’s ever played, especially since they are getting into playoff mode,” our insider adds.
Kyrie and the Cavs are in the middle of a road trip so he won’t be surrounded by his Cleveland fans for awhile. But he suited up and played like the champ he is against Houston, and still has his head in the game as the NBA playoffs approach, starting on April 16. Stay strong Kyrie!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kehlani’s suicide attempt and the trash talking from opponents will affect Kyrie’s hoops play?
