Will Kyrie Irving be taking the court for the Cleveland Cavaliers just 24 hours after his ex, Kehlani, who was accused of cheating on him, allegedly attempted suicide? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop on what’s going down ahead of the Cavs’ March 29 game!
It’s been a rough several hours for Kyrie Irving, 24, but is he going to let it affect his basketball game? With the Cavaliers’ next game happening March 29, fans are curious as to whether or not Kyrie will joining his teammmates on the court, and HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned where the team is at amid the drama.
“They’ve got a game tonight and the team wants to win, but completely understand if Kyrie needs to take the night off and be elsewhere than at the arena,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Kyrie is a fighter. He will get through this and he has the full complete support of his teammates and coaches.”
The Cavs face off against the Houston Rockets at 8:00 p.m., so we’ll have to wait until then to see what decision Kyrie makes, but he’s certainly been put through the ringer over the last day or so.
It all started when PARTYNEXTDOOR shared a photo of himself holding hands with Kehlani, 20, in bed, and fans grew furious that the singer was cheating on Kyrie with her ex. But, Kehlani later explained in a since-deleted Instagram post that there was no cheating involved, and she and Kyrie had actually broken up prior to when this all went down.
Still, the backlash really got to the 20-year-old, and in another now-deleted social media message, she revealed she’d attempted to commit suicide amid the hate. What really shocked fans, though, was the next photo she posted, which showed PND sitting at her bedside with the caption, “Thank you for saving me.” Of course, this one has been deleted, as well.
Suicide is obviously no laughing matter, and Kehlani and Kyrie clearly cared very deeply about one another, even if it’s true that they’re broken up now. So it certainly wouldn’t be far-fetched for the 24-year-old to miss the March 29 game if he needs to be away from the arena to sort all this out!
Do you think Kyrie should play in tonight’s game, HollywoodLifers? Or does it make sense for him to sit this one out?
