Masika went into labor at around 12:30pm on Tuesday, TMZ reports, and she notified Fetty as soon as it happened. Her rep sent TMZ the picture above and a source inside the hospital told HollywoodLife.com, “Masika’s in labor as we speak. She’s in a L.A. hospital right now and the baby is on its way. Fetty has been notified, and he too is on his way to the hospital to be with Masika and the baby. Also, VH1 is here filming the birth.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like Fetty made it to the hospital in time to see his little girl being born. “Masika has already given birth to a beautiful baby girl,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Fetty wasn’t there for the birth. His flight got delayed. She gave birth to the girl at 6pm and Fetty was still en route to the hospital at 7:30.”
We’re so happy to hear that at least Fetty is being supportive and wanted to be at the hospital during the birth. As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, he wasn’t always happy about Masika’s pregnancy. Initially, he said she tricked him into getting her pregnant.
“I don’t even remember what party I was at,” he told The Shade Room in January, “but my manager made me go talk to her.” The rapper said she knew exactly who he was and she had a plan. “She knew what she was doing,” he said. “I wasn’t just no random dude in the club. She knew I was going to be there and that’s how that happened.” He said they had sex and in order to ensure she didn’t get pregnant, they had a plan. But he said she didn’t follow through with the plan, and “That’s how I know it was all planned out.”
Despite their differences, we’re happy to see Fetty by Masika’s side now that they have a child together.
