OMG!!! We’ve got brand new music from Drake, with two new songs hitting the web March 29 and we…are…dead! You’ve gotta hear his new songs ‘Controlla’ featuring Popcaan, and ‘These Days’ with Babeo Baggins.

Best day ever! Two new tracks from Drake, 29, have dropped on the web and we’re in love already! “Controlla” is a slow Caribbean jam about a woman he’ll do anything for, while the slow and dreamy “These Days” with Babeo Baggins is nothing but a gorgeous and perfect ballad. Give them a listen and tell us what you think!

Close pal and Barbados native Rihanna, 28, must have rubbed off on Drizzy because he has developed a cool, tropical vibe with“Controlla.” The song is a slow beat Caribbean jam that features Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan, who is used prominently throughout the track. Drake sings about a girl he can’t do enough for, and includes the lyrics: I think I’d lie for you/I think I’d die for you/Jodeci ‘Cry For You’/Do Things Like You Want Me To/Like Controlla, Controlla.” He uses just a touch of autotune in it but he doesn’t go overboard.

“These Days” is a slow and dreamy love song that completely belongs to Drake’s gorgeous voice, it’s such a departure from what we’re used to hearing from him. It’s heavily borrowed from a song by the same name by 1970’s German pop star Nico, as the melody is copied from her quiet hit. It’s alternative title is “Things I Forgot To Do” and the song appears on Babeo’s Love Songs For Tough Guys EP. Stream Drake’s music, completely unlimited and ad-free, RIGHT HERE.
