“Lamar’s at the crib, eating up March Madness! He can’t get enough of the tournament,” the source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. Even after two NBA championships, Lamar is still, deep down, just a fan of the sport. All the upsets and Cinderella stories going down during this year’s March Madness are helping to “breathe life” into Lamar, and help him remember why he jumped on the court in the first place.
“These guys on the court are hungry and have so much raw energy and talent and Lam respects that,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. “It reminds him when he was coming up in the ranks, trying to win tournaments and ultimately get into the NBA, which he did.”
Watching Syracuse, UNC, and the rest of the Final Four make it to the big dance has made Lamar bust out some moves of his own. While at the Kardashian family Easter celebration, L.O. did a little shimmy, grooving along while enjoying the spring air. His recovery from his near-fatal drug overdose is going so well that Lamar’s been shooting some hoops again!
“After tons of therapy,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com, “Lamar is finally back on the court and happier than ever.” While these games with his friends are a “far cry from his NBA days,” L.O. hasn’t given up on returning to the league, even if he comes back as an abuse councilor!
Along with the March Madness tournament, another chief motivation in Lamar’s life is — you guessed it — Khloe Kardashian, 31. Lamar sees reconciling with Khloe as “the ultimate comeback.” Khloe said she doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Lamar, but she and her husband went on a date where eyewitnesses EXCLUSIVELY tell HollywoodLife.com that they “acted like a couple.” Could Lamar’s hard work be paying off in more ways than one?
