Nothing like some good old fashion sibling rivalry over Easter weekend, right? At least Taylor Swift and her younger bro Austin seem to think so! The two totally upped the Easter ante with their own — majorly competitive — version of a festive activity, and we have to say, it looks like they had a total blast!
Taylor Swift, 26 and her brother Austin, 24, took Easter to the NEXT level on March 26 with a super intense game of “don’t crack the egg.” After all, who needs egg painting when you can raise the stakes with an equally festive activity that’s a bit messier and A LOT more competitive? Watch their crazy Easter antics go down right here.
In a series of hilariously entertaining videos, the brother-sister duo went egg-to-egg in a unique challenge on March 26. The goal of the game was to keep your egg in tact while hitting it against the other player’s egg. Sounds a bit messy, right? Well that’s half the fun! Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to “Easter Egg Battles 2016.”
The best part about Tay and Austin’s vids is how genuinely competitive the two are with each other. After winning the first round, Taylor let out a wildly triumphant cry — clearly assuming her lucky streak would continue. However, in the end, it was Austin who reigned supreme. But even so, Taylor did her best at calling her bro out.
“It went to battle before. This isn’t fair,” Taylor shouted after discovering her egg was broken after the round following her victory. “I used this one last round!” The siblings got extra rowdy in their third video, prompting Taylor to scold her brother, “That’s against the rules…ground yourself!”
These two are all too familiar with going head-to-head in ruthless sibling competition, as last year, they participated in an intense Easter egg hunt in their parent’s backyard. Scrambling to find treats and candy, Taylor and Austin caught moments of their game on camera, and fans could just NOT get enough. The “Blank Space” singer even captioned her video, “When your parents arrange a competitive sibling Easter egg hunt, failing to take into account that their children are Ross and Monica.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
Perhaps their latest game was just a warmup for something even more fierce that will take place later on Easter Sunday? We can only hope!
What do you think of Taylor and Austin’s Easter game, HollywoodLifers? Would you give this game a whirl?
