In a matter of 24 hours, he released an album cover, title, tracklist, new single, and now, a music video...and he definitely saved the best for last. His clip for "Close," featuring Tove Lo, is beyond sexual, and the two really went there to fully depict the meaning of the song. Just watch it for yourself here and see what we mean...

Reading Time: 2 minute

In the song, Nick and Tove Lo sing about a couple who’s afraid to take things to the next level, and the video features them seated in chairs in an empty room, facing one another, but not close enough to touch. No matter how hard they try, they’re repelled from each other, even as their clothes fly off and the connection between them heats up.

But, in the end, once they’re practically naked and have come this close to giving in several times, they’re finally able to let go, and the video ends with a really sexy makeout session between the two. Seriously, is anyone else feeling this chemistry?! These young, sexy stars look beyond hot together, and we’re so glad they weren’t afraid to take things to this level for their art.

The 23-year-old is clearly really excited and anxious about his upcoming album. He announced the title, Last Year Was Complicated, on March 24, along with the full track list, and dropped “Close” the very next day.

“When I first started making [this] I thought I knew hwat it would be about… Then I had a breakup,” he explained on Twitter (Nick and Olivia Culpo broke up last May). “It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep.” The record comes out on June 10, and if this first single is any indication, it’s going to be GOOD.

What do you think of the video, HollywoodLifers? Was it super sexy, or did it take things way too far?
