Oh, no! Golden Girl Betty White is being sued by her longtime live-in employee, who claims that she was not paid overtime or given proper breaks. Get the details here.
Betty White, 94, is under fire by one of her caretakers, Anita Maynard. She filed a lawsuit against Betty on March 17 that alleges she was never paid overtime though she worked 14 hour days, among other grievances. Read on to see what the employee is demanding from the Hot In Cleveland star!
This is so shocking! Anita claims that Betty did not pay her overtime or allow breaks while working for her between Feb. 1994-March 2016 as a live-in caretaker. Besides working 14 hour days, allegedly without overtime, Anita claims she also worked a 6th day each week without compensation, and has not received vacation pay or owed wages since she’s stopped working for Betty. Anita is asking the court for the money she’s owed, plus penalties and attorney’s fees. Click HERE to see the court documents.
