Vlogging sensation, Zoella — aka Zoe Suggs — had the Internet up in arms over a selfie she took in bed that — gasp — showed the waistband of her underwear! In light of Zoe’s criticism, her fans have relentlessly taken to Twitter, standing up for the star and showing her their fierce support.
Adored vlogger, Zoe Suggs, 25, rocked the web when she posted a Snapchat of herself saying goodnight to her fans. Oh but that’s not all, Zoe was — wait for it — in a T-shirt and underwear! SO scandalous, right? Wrong. But apparently some individuals thought so and were extremely offended by her “inappropriate” pic. Zoe’s critiques led her staunch fans to retaliate against any haters via social media using the hashtag #WeStandWithZoe.
Zoe’s snap featured the vlogger in a white, long-sleeved t-shirt laying on her bed with “Goodnight” written across the screen. In addition to her pajama top, Zoe was also wearing a pair of black Calvin Klein bikini-styled underwear, which she let peak out a little bit from underneath her covers.
And while men, like Justin Bieber, 22, and Nick Jonas, 23, get applauded for posing, nearly nude, in THEIR Calvins, Zoe was highly criticized by media outlets and naysayers alike. Talk about a double standard, right? Her bedtime selfie sparked SO much controversy in fact, that her fans — and even people who don’t watch her videos — took to Twitter to express their disgust in how Zoe was being slut-shamed for simply being a confident woman. And we have to say, their messages were pretty hilarious!

How inspiring! Fans also resorted to posting their OWN undie pics just to show how ridiculous the haters were being. After all, EVERYONE wears underwear! The least we can do is get over it and let people express themselves however they want. Zoe, you do you!
What do YOU think of Zoe’s underwear selfie, HollywoodLifers? Do you stand with Zoe?
