Talulah filed for divorce at the Los Angeles Superior Court on March 22, citing irreconcilable differences, according to a joint statement from the spouses. They state that they’ve been living apart for six months, but the split was amicable. Nothing to see here! “With mutual consent, Ms Riley filed (the divorce petition),” the statement said. “Mr Musk and Ms Riley continue to see each other occasionally as friends.”
Elon and Riley have been through this before. The couple first married in 2010, and split in 2012. But love prevailed, and they changed their minds; they got remarried just 18 months later! Elon filed for divorce on New Year’s Eve 2014, but withdrew the petition seven months later. It looks like things are officially over this time.
Talulah’s divorce filing didn’t mention any prenup between herself and the tech genius, who’s worth an estimated $13.7 billion. The founder of Paypal, Tesla and SpaceX, Elon has made a fortune with new innovations in the tech industry.
